The Walking Dead Spoilercast: Episode One

The Walking Dead proved to be one of the most noteworthy releases of 2012, taking this industry by surprise and beating out a bunch of heavyweight contenders for Game of the Year awards. But is Telltale’s latest piece of greatness seriously as powerful as the hype train it’s riding on suggests? That’s where we come in.

Ready with our initial reactions after playing through Episode One, Alex Wen and I get together to discuss The Walking Dead. With plot points being important components of our impressions, expect spoilers galore, so tread lightly (or not at all, if you haven’t played the game and have even the slightest hint of interest).

This first entry is a tad padded as we set up the Spoilercast framework and get some all-encompassing opinions out of the way. Thus, our back-breaking submission to the YouTube overlord forced us to split the associated video into two parts. Future episodes should be both more compact and more manageable.

Episode One (Part 1)

Episode One (Part 2)

Video is pretty, but for those looking for a format that’s easier to digest, might I suggest the audio version?

Subscribing on iTunes is ideal, automatically downloading new episodes before the rest of the world even knows they exist. However, feel free to go with the one-time MP3 version if you prefer.
